Controlled Environment Agriculture Innovation Center
The Controlled Environment Agriculture Innovation Center is a joint project between Virginia Tech and the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR). By developing strategic partnerships with both industry and academia, the goal of the Innovation Center is to conduct research and educational programming to develop, promote and advance the controlled environment agriculture sector in the U.S. and internationally.

AGRICULTURE (CEA) SUMMIT EAST - 2024
Building alliances, sharing information and forging new connections were clear themes that emerged from the successful 2023 edition, which attracted 240 + attendees from 33 U.S. states, Canada, The Netherlands and Sweden, including growers, educators, scientists, extension specialists, suppliers, and other industry members.

These interactive industry maps will help Israeli and Virginia companies identify synergies to develop R&D and manufacturing partnerships. Then the Virginia Israel Advisory Board will help to grow those businesses in Virginia.
